Dongdong He received the B.S. degree in Mathematics from Hefei University of Technology in 2006, then did three years’ graduate study in applied mathematics at Fudan University from 2006 to 2009. Thereafter, he did PhD study at York University, Canada from 2009 to 2012. From August 2012 to November 2013, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Mathematics, City University of Hong Kong. From September 2013 to October 2017, he worked at School of Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics, Tongji University as an Assistant Professor (September 2013-December 2016) and the Tenured Associate Professor (December 2016-October 2017). Prof. He joined the school of science and engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen as an Assistant Professor in November 2017.

Prof. He’s research interests include Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations, Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Applied Asymptotic Analysis. He has published more than 30 journal papers, including: Journal of Fluid Mechanics、 Journal of Computational Physics、Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, etc. And he has been the principal investigator of several research grants, including the NSFC Young scholar fund.
